Museo del Sidrón

El centro de interpretación del Neanderthal se sitúa en el fondo del valle, en un lugar desde el que se observan las montañas que albergan la cueva del Sidrón, cuya replica alberga en su interior. El edificio se presenta en el entorno como una montaña artificial, como una roca construida que establece relaciones con el paisaje y con las líneas quebradas que forman el skyline de las montañas. La envolvente del edificio se construye con un hormigón poroso, lleno de coqueras que con el paso del tiempo incorporará a la superficie pétrea, líquenes y musgos de la región, articulando más si cabe la relación del nuevo edificio con el contexto que lo alberga.

Neanderthalen interpretazio zentroa bailara sakonean kokatzen da, bertatik Sidrón kobazuloa aurkitzen den mendikatea ikus daiteke eta erreplika aurki dezakegu. Eraikina mendikate artifizial modura aurkezten da, eraikitako haitz bat balitz bezala, paisaia  eta mendikateak urrunera sortzen duen skylinearekin erlazionatuz. Eraikinaren azala hormigoi porotsu batez egina dago, zulotxoez beteta, denborarekin harrizko azalean bertako liken eta goroldioa eransten lagunduko duena, bere testuinguruarekin harremana artikulatuz.

The Neanderthal Interpretation Center is located in the deep valley, in a place from which you can observe the mountains that house Sidrón Cave, whose replica houses the Interpretation Center. The building appears as an artificial mountain, built like a rock that establishes relationships with the landscape and with the broken lines that give shape to the skyline of mountains.

The building enclosure is constructed with a porous concrete, plenty of voids, which with the passage of time, the stony surface will be filled with lichens and mosses of the region, articulating much more, the relationship of the new building in the context that houses it.
